31 week ultrasound.

It's kind of fuzzy, but here she is at 31 weeks gestation! Her face takes up most of the screen, but look close and you can see a couple of round cheeks and a chin. I think she's almost smiling with her eyes closed :)

31+ Weeks and Counting!

Tony and I were given another opportunity to see our little munchkin yesterday morning at my third ultrasound. Dr. Schutte wasn't comfortable with the distance between my placenta and cervix as shown in my ultrasound at 19 weeks, so she ordered another ultrasound to make sure everything shifted "properly" as the pregnancy progressed. Hence the 31 week visit!

She weighed in at approx. 4 lbs and we were able to see little rolls of fat on her legs and arms. Our first question for the tech was "can you just double check to make sure she's a she...the nursery has already been painted!" Sure enough...we saw what we needed :) Tony wanted the tech to point out any hair she may have. We've got a little guessing game going on being that he came into the world with a red "fro" and I with just a little bit of brownish hair (an average amount I suppose?) Well, our baby will definitely have some hair...there were quite a bit of what looked like dark whispies showing up on the screen...possible red "fro" like daddy???
It was so cool to see how much she has grown and developed! We even were able to catch a glimpse of some chubby cheeks! The tech left us with another picture of her face, which now looks like a little baby (instead of the alien look back at 19 weeks).

My doctor has no need to be concerned about the placenta as everything looked to be a-o-k! Baby is doing fantastic! Now we just have to think good thoughts so she doesn't decide to come early! Tone will be in Yuma doing his big NSI Check and the soonest he'll be able to get back on Oahu will be around May 12th. We've been going by a May 20th due date, but yesterday the tech gave us a May 17th due date (based on her measurements)...keep your fingers crossed!!!!

That's pretty much it at the moment. Attached are some pictures from the past few weeks. Lori was so sweet and painted the whole nursery for us while on her visit! I went ahead and added some wall art as well. That's about all we've done so far. I did FINALLY order the rocker from Pottery Barn, now we just need to get some sort of changing table and curtains.
Last weekend Tone finished his first class towards becoming a dive master (pictures attached). Obviously, I wasn't able to dive, so I just layed out on the beach and waited...this was a spot we had yet to discover, which was cool! Tony really wants the two of us to become masters so that we can be confident going out on our own. When the baby is born the plan is for me to start getting some master classes knocked out...maybe while grandparents are in town :) We'll see :)
